Parental Empowerment and Engagement

Parents actively support their child’s journey through seminars on financial planning, scholarships, grants, and course and extracurricular guidance. They also learn to navigate the Find Your Grind platform to continue career exploration beyond camp.

Camper Experience

Once you know what you want in life, you can shape your career to match your ideal lifestyle.

Before camp, each camper completes the Find Your Grind Lifestyle Assessment to receive career recommendations. Based on their results, they choose four Career Paths to explore at colleges and universities across Metro Atlanta, creating a personalized experience.

The four-day, three-night camp is based at Oglethorpe University, offering an immersive college experience. On Days 2 and 3, campers visit their selected campuses for hands-on career workshops with professors and industry professionals.

For an additional fee, campers can also enjoy evening excursions to the Atlanta Aquarium, College Football Hall of Fame, or Main Event Entertainment Center.

Parent Experience

After dropping off their camper, parents will attend workshops on college financial planning, scholarships, and ways to support career exploration beyond camp.

For a year after camp, both campers and parents can access the Find Your Grind platform, featuring online career modules and mentorship opportunities in various fields.

Over four days, campers will explore career pathways, engage in hands-on workshops at Metro Atlanta college campuses, and participate in interactive sessions designed to help them discover their future.

Campers check in at Oglethorpe University between 3–4 PM, set up their dorms, and meet their counselors before attending orientation. Parents join info sessions on career exploration and financial planning. After dinner, campers enjoy free time before room checks at 9 PM

Campers start the day with breakfast before traveling to Metro Atlanta college campuses for hands-on career exploration workshops. They attend morning and afternoon sessions, with lunch in between, before returning to Oglethorpe University for free time and dinner. Evenings include optional excursions or leisure time, ending with room checks at 9 PM.
